How long will it take to heal?
Healing is like losing excess weight. If you have 10 kilos you'd like to lose you would need to follow a certain exercise and diet program for a certain number of weeks until you achieve the desired results. While at the same time not indulging in the food/activities that cause excess weight gain.
If you had to lose 100 kilos the program that you’d have to follow would be for a much longer time period, in order to get the same results.
When a person comes for healing they have a certain amount of diseased energy built up in the etheric (energy body) and also in the astral and mental bodies (the other auras) and chakras. For some people, those with chronic illness or other long standing illness, this energy is built up in many deep layers.
People on average have 50'000 - 70'000 thoughts a day, each thought creates an energy that becomes lodged in the chakras and auras. How many negative thoughts do you have on average a day? A week? A year? For your entire lifetime?
When you got angry at a person, or sad or depressed or felt other negative emotions, how long did you spend thinking about the situation, reacting internally with more anger, resentment, stress, etc..? All of this and more is the energy that builds up, (like the extra weight) that ultimately may cause ill health.
